Based on her mains water use on the garden before and after the installation of her greywater system, Participant Two has reduced her average weekly outdoor water consumption by 1750 litres.

Before Installation

Before the installation of her Greywater Gardener 230, she used to water for four hours a week with a mains water hose (estimated to use 1000 litres of water per hour based on normal mains pressure for a garden hose).

After Installation

She now only has to water her garden for between one and a half hours and three hours a week (depending on rainfall), instead of four hours. She still uses mains water on the garden where the greywater irrigation is not installed.
