The project involves 70 participants across high watering using municipalities of Sydney. Each participant purchased a Greywater Gardener 230™ and had it installed in their gardens. The project has the potential to save up to 19 million litres of water a year. Waterwise Systems aims to reduce outdoor water consumption in participating households by 80-100% through substituting potable water used outdoors with greywater that has been reused from their washing machine or showers. The project also aims to demonstrate environmentally sound greywater technology and that sustainable water use and a healthy green garden can be easily achieved in Sydney. |
